fun
d&d has been really fun. tonight was especially so. i didn't think i would like a roleplaying game so much.
you know, younger me would have been very excited for it, though. i used to participate in online roleplay a lot when myspace was around. i enjoyed the writing and creative outlet a lot, and i made some pretty neat friends, although i regret that i didn't keep up with them.
i think as i aged i got stuck (and likely still am) in the mindset that adults need to be a certain way at all times in order to be taken seriously or respected. i hate that for me. what a restrictive way to think and feel.
i should allow myself to enjoy things, when i can. especially since it's quite rare these days. i've been having the desire to color a lot recently. i think once i can rationalize the purchase, i'll buy some nice alcohol markers and some coloring books.
